Edward J. Stankowski Sr.

Edward J. Stankowski, 88, of Harmar Twp. passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 in Family Hospice & Palliative Care, Pittsburgh. He was born August 26, 1929 in Hendersonville, PA to the late John and Magdeline (Wilk) Stankowski and has resided in Harmar Twp. since 1962. Ed was a freight truck driver for Jones Motor Freight prior to his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman. Ed leaves to cherish his memory his daughter, Linda Hilty of Allegheny Twp., his two sons, John (Stacy) Stankowki of Cheswick, Edward J. (Rebekah) Stankowski Jr. of East Deer, his four grandchildren, Eric and Brandin Hilty, Annika and Reagan Stankowski, his two brothers, Alexander and Walter, both of Hendersonville. In addition to his parents mentioned above, Ed was preceded in death by his wife Margaret R. (Elardo) Stankowski in 1994, and his 4 brothers and 3 sisters. A private family visitation was held, followed by private committal services, officiated by the Reverend Harold Mele, and entombment in the Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Indiana Twp.
