William Gallino Obituary

William R. Gallino, 92, of Freeport passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 in the Kittanning Care Center, Kittanning Twp.

He was born January 24, 1927 in Freeport to the late Joseph G and Alberta (Sweeney) Gallino and resided in Freeport Borough all of his life.

Mr. Gallino was a U. S. Navy veteran, serving in WW II. He became a roll turner for Allegheny Ludlum, Brackenridge Works for 56 years prior to his retirement in 1993. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Freeport.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of 70 years, Lois F. (Sarver) Gallino, his daughter, Alice (Peter) Carr of Belton, TX, his son, Jack Gallino of Freeport, grandson, Kevin Carr and his brother Joseph G. Gallino, Jr.

In addition to his parents mentioned above, his brother, George P. “Pat” Gallino preceded him in death.
