Charles Allen Higgins

Charles Allen Higgins, 84, of Freeport passed away on Monday, October 28, 2024, in Country Manor Personal Care Home, Kittanning Twp.

He was born March 31, 1940, in Natrona Heights, Harrison Township to the late Charles W. and Blanche R. (Walters) Higgins. Allen was a life-long resident of Freeport Borough.

He was a member of the St. Mary, Mother of God, Roman Catholic Church, Freeport and a former member of the Freeport Lions Club.  In addition, he enjoyed bible study, drawing and sports.

Surviving are his great-nieces, Dana L. Pompei (Jim & Kara) and Lynzee Norton.

Allen was preceded in death by his parents mentioned above, and his sister, Shirley R. McAllister.

Family and friends may call from 10 am until the time of a blessing service at 11 am on Monday, Nov. 4th. at the DENNIS J. DAUGHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 324 Fourth Street, Freeport. His Pastor, the Reverend Richard J. Kosisko, JCL officiating. A private burial will follow in the Lakewood Memorial Gardens, Cheswick, Indiana Twp.
