Clarence E. “JR” Crane, Jr., 70, of West Leechburg, Allegheny Township (Westmoreland County) passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025, in his home. He was born on July 20,1954, in Natrona Heights, Harrison Twp., to the late Clarence Eugene and Vera LaVern (Carnahan) Crane. Mr. Crane worked for many years for Key Bellevilles, Allegheny Township. In addition, he was an avid hunter and enjoyed riding his quad. He is survived by his sister, Darlene L. Davis of Lower Burrell, his brother, Samuel H. Crane of Gibsonia, his nieces, Amy (Bruce) Beattie of Lower Burrell, Shelly (Gary) Humphries of West Pittsburg, PA, John (Melissa) Davis of West Leechburg and four great-nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, mentioned above, his brother,Alan L. Crane and his great-nephew Aaron Jones. At Clarence’s request, there will be no public visitation or services. His wishes of being cremated and spread on the family’s farm will be honored. The DENNIS J. DAUGHERTYFUNERAL HOME, 324 Fourth Street, Freeport.(724-295-3100) is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
