Colleen Crytzer

Colleen Crytzer, was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many. A resident of Freeport, PA, she left this world suddenly on February 24, 2023 at the age of 88.

After raising five children, Colleen embarked upon a career as a therapist. She earned a Masters degree in Psychology from Indiana University and began a distinguished career as an outreach therapist for residents of the North side of Pittsburgh. She was devoted to the mission of mental health access and helped countless individuals over the course of her practice.

An avid gardener, painter and lover of the arts, Colleen had a zest for living and actively pursued her passions to the very end. She is survived by her children and grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the mental health charity of your choice.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Riverfront Park, Freeport.

The Dennis J. Daugherty Funeral Home, Freeport assisted the family with cremation arrangements.
