James F. Golembesky, 68, of Buffalo Twp., Butler County, died Thursday, May 25, 2023 at his residence.
He was born on July 3, 1954 in Natrona Heights, Allegheny County, PA.
Son of the late James L. and Jean B. (Stiver) Golembesky.
James worked in the tool and die industry as a surface grinder for
several different companies. He enjoyed auto mechanics--especially his
1964 Pontiac GTO.
James is survived by two sons James R. (Melissa) Golembesky, of
Freeport, and Clint M. Golembesky, of Allegheny Township; daughter,
Genevieve (Andrew T.) Smith, of Natrona Heights; three grandchildren,
Cheyanne and Danica Golembesky, and Laurel Smith; two sisters, Brenda
L. (Richard C. Frantz) Golembesky of Mars, and Cynthia L. Hinton, of
Bethel Park; brother, Shawn C. (Debi) Golembesky, of Armstrong Twp.;
niece, Jessica (Rich) Johns; and two nephews, Joshua (Lindzey)
Golembesky and Benjamin (Crystal) Hinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents mentioned above.
Family and friends may call from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May
31, 2023 at the Dennis J. Daugherty Funeral Home, 324 Fourth St.,
Freeport, 724-295-3100. Additional viewing will be held on Thursday
from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM at the funeral
home with Rev. Jonathan D. Hill, officiating.
