Kathleen MacFarlane

Kathleen MacFarlane Gath, 73, of Allegheny Twp., (Westmoreland County) passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 in UPMC Magee-Women’s Hospital, Pittsburgh.,

Kathleen was born April 22, 1949 in Aliquippa to the late Robert M. and Irene M. (Johnston) MacFarlane.

She was employed as a systems analyst for the former Genco, Fox Chapel until her retirement in 2011.

Her hobbies included traveling, snow skiing in Europe, water skiing and scuba diving.

Kathleen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 29 years, Arthur E. “Art” Gath of Allegheny Twp., her two sisters, Sandra (Rob) McKnight of Jacksonville, FL, Christine Foringer of Aliquippa, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents mentioned above, her brother, Robert J. MacFarlane, and her sisters, Diana Pelley and Patricia MacFarlane.

Family and friends may call Saturday, Oct. 15th from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm in the DENNIS J. DAUGHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 324 Fourth Street, Freeport, 724-295-3100, where funeral ceremonies will be held on Sunday, Oct. 16th at 2 pm. Private burial will be held at the family’s convenience in the Union Cemetery, Monaca.
