Raymond Hickey, Jr.

Raymond “Uncle Ray” Hickey, Jr., 62, Harmer Township, passed away suddenly on February 12th, 2023. Ray was born on July 22nd, 1961, in Pittsburgh to the late Raymond & Kay Hickey. Raymond is survived by his brother John J. (Jackie) Hickey, of South Hills, two sisters, Diana L. (Ron Zeiler) Magnanti, of New Kensington, Linda M. Bacon of Richmond, VA, eight nieces and nephews which were his pride and joy. Seldom in life do you come across someone quite like Ray. With his big heart and willingness to help others, Ray never missed an opportunity to try and make someone laugh or smile. No matter what, Ray would always find a way to help his family and friends. His hobbies included watching Nascar, Pittsburgh sporting teams and cheering for the Springdale Dynamos. Raymond’s love for his family was displayed every day and his legacy of being there for others will carry on. Family and friends are invited from 5 p.m. until the time of memorial services at 7 p.m. Friday, February 23rd in the Dennis J. Daugherty Funeral Home 324 4th Street Freeport. The Reverend Jonathan D. Hill will be officiating. Private burial will follow.
