Sandra L. (Louttit) Grimm, 66, of North Buffalo Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, in the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, East Franklin Township. She was born Aug. 28, 1949, in Kittanning, to the late Clarence P. and Emma J. (Sampson) Louttit. She resided on the family farm in North Buffalo Township all of her life. Sandy was a graduate of the Kittanning High School and was a health care provided for many various area families for many years. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church of West Kittanning, where she taught art classes. She met her husband, Tom, at the League of Arts, Slate Lick, while attending a square dance. She enjoyed Civil War Re-enacting with her husband at many of the various reenactments. Sandra acted in the movie "God's and Generals" and in the series "Diggers" on the National Geographic channel. Sandra leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 29 years, whom she married on Sept. 26, 1986, Thomas W. Grimm; her son, Jonathan M. T. (Heather) Grimm, of Ford City; her brother, Ralph Louttit, of Brattleboro, Vt.; and her grandson, Samuel Henry Grimm. In addition to her parents mentioned above, she was preceded in death by her three brothers, Clarence C., Jimmy and Dicky. Her family will welcome friends and family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 11, and from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral ceremonies at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 12, in the DENNIS J. DAUGHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 324 Fourth St., Freeport, 724-295-3100, with her pastor, the Rev. Daniel L. Kaminski, officiating.
