Susan A. Thompson

 Susan A. (Trefelner) Thompson, 74, of Fawn Township (Allegheny County) passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 at the Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights, Harrison Twp.

She was born January 14, 1949 in Natrona Heights to the late Raymond W. and Frances I. (Freehling) Trefelner. She resided the majority of her life in the Natrona Heights area.

Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Freeport, Tarentum VFW, Natrona Heights VFW and the Brackenridge American Legion Post 226.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her nieces and nephews, Tamra Hensel, Sandra Uram, Dan Trefelner, Mark Trefelner, Caroline Binner, Carrie (Trefelner) Penn, Melody Booker, numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and one great-great nephew. As well as, her sister-in-law Patricia (Cook) Trefelner.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents mentioned above, her husband John “JT” Thompson on March 21, 2013, and her brothers, Ronald K. Trefelner and Richard G. Trefelner.

At Mrs. Thompson’s request, there will be no visitation or ceremonies. The Dennis J. Daugherty Funeral Home, 324 Fourth Street, Freeport, PA 16229. (724-295-3100) is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.
