Virginia B. Bartlebaugh

Virginia B. “Ginny” Bartlebaugh, 93, of Cabot, formerly of Gibsonia and Freeport, passed away Friday, Sept. 2, 2016, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Winfield Township, with her family by her side. She was born July 19, 1923, on Franklin Street in Freeport, to the late Charles R. and Cora B. (Morrison) Beale. Virginia’s father, Charles, was the founder of the former Beale’s Service Station in the Laneville section of Freeport. Virginia was raised in Freeport, graduated in the Class of 1941, and lived in Freeport until moving to Gibsonia, where she and her husband built their home in 1961 and resided there until moving into Concordia in 2011. Mrs. Bartlebaugh was a member of Bakerstown United Methodist Church for 52 years and was a member of the Eastern Star. She also enjoyed playing cards and bowling in her younger years. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Harry Richard “Dick” Bartlebaugh of 66 years, whom she married on Aug. 30, 1950; and beloved daughter, Lynne (Stephen) Morse, of Greensburg. She was Mum Mum to her granddaughters, Bethany and Gabrielle, both of Greensburg. Also surviving are two nieces and a nephew. In addition to her parents, mentioned above, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur C. Beale. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6, in the DENNIS J. DAUGHERTY FUNERAL HOME, 324 Fourth St., Freeport, 724-295-3100, where funeral ceremonies will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, with her pastor, the Rev. Dennis W.
